Post office missing in action

Are Beacon Bay postbox holders aware that for the past month the person who sorts and places the mail —which, on odd occasions, actually reaches the post office for sorting — has been on leave?

This has resulted in no mail whatsoever being put into the boxes for the past month.

We pay an annual fee for that, and it increases each year. No substitute was appointed to do the work while the staffer is on leave, and the mail has just piled up, much of which are magazines, for which subscriptions are paid, as well as mail that requires attention.

There is also a chronic shortage of post office delivery vans to even get the mail to the post offices.

How can this be remedied?
